Q&A with Judy
Q: Who is your favorite instructor?
A: Dani Dellarco!
Q: How did you get started with Echelon?
A: My gym closed in 2020. I needed a fitness outlet so I researched spin bikes. I kept reading about the great instructors and community at Echelon. My first ride was with Nicole and I felt so welcomed! Best decision ever!
Q: What is your favorite part about the Echelon Community?
A: This community is SO supportive! Sometimes I struggle to make myself a priority and I know if I reach out, someone will ease me back in by offering to do a class with me. I now have an Eche-family all over the world and they have my back, and I have theirs!
Q: How has Echelon impacted your life?
A: I’m in better shape physically now than I e been in years, and I look forward to getting on the bike and rower, and doing Fitpass! Because I exercise regularly, I’m in better emotional and mental shape as well, and no doubt I’ll have a longer, healthier life because of Echelon. I bought my son a bike also, and I love seeing him on the leaderboard, as he doesn’t live nearby. I love the connection!
Q: What keeps you motivated?
A: #1 is Dani. She is incredibly motivating and can get me moving on those days when I want to curl up in a ball and stay in bed. I also reach out to the community when I’m on the struggle bus, and someone always offers to meet in a class. This is the most consistent I’ve ever been with my fitness journey, and it’s easy to stick with it with all the support.
Q: What tips do you want to share with other members to achieve their fitness goals?
A: #1 is find your tribe! Everyone is here to encourage you. #2 is you do you! Don’t compare your journey with others. #3 s reach out to instructors to make a connection! They are amazing and really care about everyone achieving their goals. Seriously, they are the best people ever.
Q: What makes Echelon different than our competitors?
A: My niece and cousin both have the “P” bike. They spent more money and they don’t have a community. Their classes are completely impersonal and instructors do not engage with the community like our instructors do. I’m so glad I have my Echelon equipment, instructors and community and I know they are really missing out on something special.
