Meet Maribel
“You’re not alone. God’s with you, and so are we.”
Maribel was born and raised in South Florida, and has always loved the beach and all things sunshine! She is a certified Pilates instructor and also teaches cycling. She fell in love with fitness and wellness and never looked back.
Maribel is the founder of Lifted in Faith Movement—a faith-based fitness and wellness community that brings people together through faith, fitness, and mindfulness events. After hosting a few events, she realized she wanted to connect more personally with the people showing up and build something consistent beyond just one-time experiences. That’s what led her to become a Pilates instructor, to create a safe and welcoming space where individuals could come together regularly and get a good workout in. Now she leads weekly Sunrise Beach Pilates classes as a way to pour into the community and grow together in both faith and fitness.
What Brought Maribel to Echelon
"I decided to teach at Echelon because I truly love what the brand stands for - community, empowerment, and making fitness accessible to everyone. As the founder of a faith-based fitness movement, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to bring my passion for both faith and fitness into a new space. I’m excited to lead faith-based cycling classes that not only challenge the body but also uplift the spirit. Teaching at Echelon allows me to reach more people and create meaningful impact through movement and message."
Maribel's instructing style is mainly motivational and supportive - she loves encouraging everyone to do their best and feel confident in their own progress.

Maribel's Advice To New Members?
Her best advice for someone new to fitness is that it will be challenging at first but the more you do it the easier it gets. Don’t give up. Find exercises that are fun and make you genuinely happy to show up when you enjoy what you’re doing. It won’t feel like working out at all.
Welcome to the Echelon family, Maribel!
