Pamela has been a dedicated member of the Echelon community since November 2020. Based in the United States, Pamela’s journey with Echelon is one of resilience, strength, and inspiration. After facing significant health challenges, including fractured vertebrae and two rare muscle diseases, Pamela found hope and strength through Echelon, transforming her life and exceeding her own expectations.

In this Q&A, Pamela shares her Echelon experience, favorite instructors, and advice for fellow members.

Q: Who is your favorite instructor?
A: Jama Oliver.

Q: How did you get started with Echelon?
A: I had 3 fractured thoracic vertebrae, and my only option for exercise other than walking was an indoor bike. My husband bought me an EX3 on Black Friday of 2020.

Q: What is your favorite part about the Echelon Community?
A: Both the people and the instructors ❤️.

Q: How has Echelon impacted your life?
A: I have 2 rare muscle diseases that totally changed my life. I expected to be wheelchair-bound by 50. Not only am I not wheelchair-bound, but I’m in the best shape of my life since my diagnosis in 2015.

Q: What keeps you motivated?
A: My Echelon friends and the challenges created by Echelon communities on Facebook.

Q: What tips do you want to share with other members to achieve their fitness goals?
A: Do you! Don’t get caught up with where you are compared to anyone else. We are all on our own fitness journey.

Q: What makes Echelon different than our competitors?
A: The community as well as the live rides with a fantastic crew of instructors.
