Meet Carys
With more than eight years of coaching experience in Dubai, Carys brings a powerful blend of expertise and energy to the Echelon community. She launched her fitness career in 2016 as a cycling instructor, expanded her skills to become a boxing coach in 2019, and began leading HIIT classes in 2020. Always committed to growth, Carys most recently added reformer Pilates to her teaching repertoire, beginning in the summer of 2025.
Beyond her impressive coaching background, Carys holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic & International Relations, graduating with first-class honours, a testament to her dedication, discipline, and drive.
Her diverse skill set and passion for movement make her a standout instructor, ready to guide Echelon members through challenging, effective, and motivating workouts.
"My time in the pharmaceutical industry opened my eyes to how important it is to take responsibility for your own physical and mental well-being. That realization is what ultimately led me to a career in fitness."

What Brought Carys to Echelon
"I have always worked in studios and rarely had the opportunity to do any filming or on-screen classes. I love to learn new skills and saw this opportunity as an exciting new chance to grow in my career doing something I already know, love and thrive in."
What Is Your Proudest Fitness Achievement?
All of my proudest fitness moments are the clients who hated the gym and thanks to me, or my class, they become regulars who fall in love with fitness the way I did. I am so emotionally proud to have impacted so many people who never considered themselves 'gym people' before and fortunately for me, I have been able to have this impact on hundreds of people who've told me their stories.
Quickfire Questions!
Q: What personality trait sets your apart?
A: I'm known for my classic British sarcasm and non-stop energy, always smiling through the toughest sprints and the heaviest climbs.
Q: How do you spend your rest days?
A: Hanging out with my cat or going out on walks and feeding the stray cats in my area. This year I've become a bit of a crazy cat lady!
Q: What is your favorite post-workout snack?
A: Edamame.
What Is Your Advice To New Members?
"Find what you enjoy doing and stick to it. Of course we should be balancing weights and cardio but if there's something that you love to do that helps with your fitness then enjoy it! life is too short for boring workouts."
Welcome to the Echelon family, Carys!
